As a novice bike rider, I parked and walked my bike on Thumb Butte up to the scenic view. Took me about 35 minutes to get to the view, it was very picturesque to take in. Appeared to be downhill towards the Copper Basin direction, so I returned to where I came. It was much more fun going down, averaged 5-1/2 minute miles!!

We enjoyed the drive up and the views. We came up FR53 in the Jeep. Spent some time picking up trash. Then enjoyed the view and lunch in the Jeep before heading down the easy way. We will go back.

One of the most mesmerizing views I have experienced in my entire life. Though the drive to the sunset point was rough, it was worth taking it. A must-visit adventurous spot while in Prescott.

First off Me and my family are AZ. Natives, but life has taken us elsewhere. My wife and I got married here 8/28/18. We were in town so we went to see it all covered in snow. Wow how beautiful.
